View the board financial summary
This guide shows you how to open the board financial summary and read revenue, aging, refunds, and tax — all as org-wide totals, with no member names.
Who can do this: Board Members and Governance Readers. (The exact permission required to call this endpoint is being finalized — see your admin if access is unexpectedly restricted.)
Before you start
Section titled “Before you start”- You have a Board Member role. Your admin sets this up.
- If you also hold an admin role, a View as admin button lets you switch to the full admin view.
Open the summary
Section titled “Open the summary”- Sign in to the Board portal. Select Reports in the board nav. The page opens at
/board/financial-summary. - A blue notice at the top reads: “This financial summary shows aggregate totals only. Individual member payment details are visible to finance admins, not displayed here.” This is by design.
Pick your period
Section titled “Pick your period”- Use the period selector in the page header to choose:
- Year to date (default)
- Last 12 months
- Last calendar year
- Current fiscal year
- The page reloads when you change the period.
Read the four sections
Section titled “Read the four sections”Each section shows org-wide totals only. No per-member rows appear.
- Revenue — revenue by period, accrual and cash side by side, with a trend chart.
- Aging Receivables — total amounts in each bucket: 0–30, 31–60, 61–90, and 90+ days past due. Per-member detail is available to your finance admin.
- Refunds — total refunds and net revenue.
- Tax Collected by Jurisdiction — aggregate tax by state.
Export
Section titled “Export”- Select Export aggregate in the page header.
- Choose CSV, Excel, or PDF. The file has all four sections as totals. No member names are included. The file name says “Aggregate Financial Summary — Board View.”
Verify
Section titled “Verify”All four sections fill in with totals and the blue notice is at the top. Selecting a table row does nothing — the summary is read-only.
If something goes wrong
Section titled “If something goes wrong”- A section shows “No revenue recorded in this period” — no transactions occurred in the selected period. Try choosing a different period from the selector.
- Page didn’t load — select Retry. If the problem persists, contact your admin.
