Who can do this: All signed-in users. The public help site is also accessible without signing in.
Search from any page
Section titled “Search from any page”- Click the Help icon in the top-right corner of any page. A side panel opens with the search bar already focused.
- Type your question or keywords. Results appear as you type — usually within half a second. Each result shows a title, a short excerpt, and an area tag.
- Click a result to open the full article inside the side panel.
Go directly to a feature’s help article
Section titled “Go directly to a feature’s help article”- Find the ? icon next to the feature you need help with.
- Click the ? icon. The side panel opens directly to the help article for that feature, skipping the search step.
Change the search context

- To search across all areas, click the x on the context chip to dismiss it.
- Search results now include articles from all areas.
Use the public help site
Section titled “Use the public help site”- Open
help.[yourdomain].comin any browser. No sign-in is required. - Search for articles the same way you would in the app.
- If an article is only available to signed-in users, you will see a Sign in to view notice instead of the article body.
Verify
Section titled “Verify”You’ll know it worked when the full article text appears in the side panel.
If something goes wrong
Section titled “If something goes wrong”- No results for your search — Try shorter or different keywords. If the article you need doesn’t exist yet, click the Submit feedback link at the bottom of the empty-results screen. This routes your request to the support team.
- “Ask AI?” prompt appears — If no articles match, MapleGather offers an AI-assisted answer. Click Ask AI to continue, or click Contact support to reach the support team directly.
