Claim your account via the magic link
Your organization has moved to MapleGather. You received an email with a personal claim link — this guide walks you through what to do when you open it.
Who can do this: Members who received a claim-account email from their organization.
- Open the claim email from your organization and select the claim link. The link opens a secure MapleGather page — you don’t need a password to get started.
- On the Confirm profile step, review the information imported from your previous system — your name, email, membership level, and member-since date. If everything looks correct, select Looks good — continue. If something needs changing, select Something’s wrong — I’ll fix it, make your edits, then select Save and continue.
- On the Set password step, choose a password that meets your organization’s minimum length — the form shows the requirement and a strength indicator as you type. Enter it again to confirm, then select Set password.
- If your organization asked you to update a payment method, a Review payment method step appears. Update your card details and select Save payment method, or select Skip for now — you can do this later.
- On the final screen, select Show me around to take a short tour of the member portal, or select Go straight to my dashboard to skip the tour.
Verify
Section titled “Verify”You’ll know it worked when you see the “You’re in!” confirmation screen and land on the member portal. Your account is fully set up.
If something goes wrong
Section titled “If something goes wrong”- “Link expired” — The claim link is valid for 30 days from when your organization sent it. If it’s expired, enter your email on the page and select Send a new link. You’ll receive a fresh link by email within a few minutes. See Your claim link expired or was already used.
- “Already claimed” — You’ve already set up your account. Select the sign-in link on the page to log in normally.
- You started on your phone and want to finish on a computer — A Continue on desktop QR code appears during the flow. Scan it with your phone’s camera to continue on your computer without needing another email link.
- The information imported is wrong — Select Something’s wrong — I’ll fix it on the confirm-profile step to edit it before continuing.
