View and use the admin dashboard
This guide shows you how to read your rate metrics and operational counts, drill into a card, and check how a metric is calculated.
Who can do this: Admins with the reports:view permission. The dashboard is your post-login home.
Before you start
Section titled “Before you start”- You need at least one member. A fresh org with no members shows a sample preview, not live data.
Read your dashboard cards
Section titled “Read your dashboard cards”- Sign in. You land on the dashboard.
- The Rate metrics group shows eight cards: MRR, MRR Growth, Avg MRR per Member, Lifetime Revenue, Avg Revenue per Member, Churn Rate, Retention Rate, and Members Gained/Lost/Net. Each card shows a value, a sparkline, and a change percentage.
- The Needs attention group shows counts: Overdue renewals, Pending applications, Event capacity warnings, and Outstanding invoices. Select any card to go to the filtered list.
- The “as of {time}” note below the title tells you when the metrics last updated. Metrics update each night.
Change the sparkline range
Section titled “Change the sparkline range”- Select any card’s sparkline. A range picker opens.
- Choose Last 30 days, 90 days, 12 months, 3 years, or All time.
- The range control in the page header shows the active range. Select Reset to default to go back to 90 days.
Drill into a card
Section titled “Drill into a card”- Select a Needs attention card. You go to the matching filtered list with chips already set.
- A card showing 0 opens an empty state (“Nothing to see here”), not a list.
- Select a Rate metrics card to open the methodology panel. The panel shows the formula, data sources, and exclusions. A detailed breakdown is coming in an update.
Check how a metric is calculated
Section titled “Check how a metric is calculated”- Select the ? on any rate metric card.
- The panel shows the Formula, Data sources, what’s Excluded, a Health over time note, and a help center link.
- Keep the panel open while you browse. Select X or press Esc to close it.
Verify
Section titled “Verify”You’ll know it worked when the Rate metrics and Needs attention cards are populated with your org’s current values, and the freshness note shows a recent timestamp. Drilling a Needs attention card takes you directly to the filtered list with the relevant chips pre-set.
If something goes wrong
Section titled “If something goes wrong”- Dashboard shows “Example” data with a watermark — your org has no members yet. The preview shows what your dashboard will look like once you add members. Select Add member to get started.
- A card shows “Couldn’t load this” — one metric failed to load. Select Retry on that card. Other cards are not affected.
- Dashboard didn’t load at all — select Retry on the error message. If the problem persists, contact support.
- You can’t select a card’s drill arrow — your role doesn’t have access to that area. The card still shows its value; hover or focus the card to see “Your role can’t open this.”
