View and edit your member profile
This guide shows you how to view and update your contact information in the member portal.
Who can do this: Any signed-in member.
View your profile
Section titled “View your profile”- Sign in to your membership portal.
- Select Profile in the navigation bar (at the bottom of the screen on a phone, or in the left sidebar on a computer).
- Your profile page shows your name, status badge, contact information, membership summary, recent activity, and household (if you belong to one).
Your status badge shows your current membership standing. Select it to see a plain-language explanation of what your status means.
Edit your profile
Section titled “Edit your profile”- On your profile page, find the Personal info section.
- Select Edit profile.
- Update any fields you want to change — name, phone number, address, date of birth, pronouns, and any other fields your org has set up.
- Select Save to save your changes.
Change your primary email address
Section titled “Change your primary email address”- On the edit page, update the email address in the Primary email field.
- Select Save.
A verification email is sent to the new address. Your email address on file doesn’t change until you select the link in that email. Check your inbox (and spam folder) if it doesn’t arrive within a few minutes.
Verify
Section titled “Verify”You’ll know your profile was updated when you see a “Profile updated” confirmation and the changes appear on your profile page.
If something goes wrong
Section titled “If something goes wrong”- “Could not load your profile” — your connection may be interrupted. Select Try again to reload.
- “Could not save your changes” — a temporary error occurred. Your entries are still in the form. Try saving again.
- The edit page doesn’t show some fields — some fields may be set by your organization and not editable by you. Contact your org admin if you need to change them.
- Your email isn’t updating — an email change requires you to confirm by selecting the link in the verification email. Check your inbox for a message from the organization.
