Convert your trial to a paid subscription

Add a payment method to turn your free trial into a paid subscription. Your organization then keeps working past day 14, with no gap. You can do this any time during your trial — it’s never a paywall.

Who can do this: Org owners. An admin with billing permission delegated to them can also subscribe. Admins with view-only billing access can see your usage but can’t subscribe.

  • Have a credit or debit card ready. Card details go straight into Stripe’s secure form — they never pass through MapleGather’s servers.
  • Every feature is available on every subscription. Your bill is based on your contact count and SMS usage. There are no plans or tiers to choose.
  1. From the welcome screen, select Set up billing. You can also open Admin & Security > Subscription at any time, or select the subscribe link in your trial banner.
  2. Review the pricing summary. It shows your current contact count and your estimated monthly bill. The estimate uses your real usage, so there are no surprises.
  1. If you have a promo code, select Have a promo code?.
  2. Type your code into the Promo code field.
  3. Select Apply.

When the code is valid, the pricing summary updates to show the effect. If a code isn’t valid, you’ll see a note and the standard rate applies — you can still subscribe. You can have one active promo code at a time: applying a new code replaces any code already on your account — codes don’t stack. To learn more, see How promo codes and introductory discounts work.

Enter your card details in the payment form. (This part is handled by Stripe’s secure form — your card details never pass through MapleGather.)

  1. Select Start subscription. Your subscription activates right away and your organization stays fully available.
  2. If you’d rather not continue now, select Cancel to return to where you were — your trial isn’t affected.

You’ll know it worked when you see a “Subscription active” confirmation and your subscription page shows your status as active with your next billing date.

  • Your card was declined — You’ll see the reason from your bank, and your organization stays on its trial (or in read-only if your trial already ended). Check your card details or try another card, then select Start subscription again.
  • Your promo code wasn’t applied — See Your promo code wasn’t applied. Your subscription still works, at the standard rate.
  • “We need to confirm it is you before adding a payment method.” — For your security, you may be asked to re-enter your password. Enter it to continue.
  • “Your subscription is already active” — Your organization is already subscribed, so there’s nothing more to do. Use the link on the message to view your usage.
